For example both VMware Fusion and Parallels Desktop allow installing a Mac operating system in to a virtual machine simply by pointing their software to the original unaltered Apple installer file. ![]() This is indeed supposed to be possible and legal but VirtualBox has very poor Mac support. ![]() I get the impression that the original poster - CatTM is trying to create a virtualised copy of High Sierra running inside VirtualBox.
